Once Leanna begins going over the treatment with her client, she will assess areas of concern, take before photos to have a baseline of what they started with before treatment, will perform treatment same day per the client, and if the client is having filler done, she will finish with after photos and provide after care on the client. She will also send the client home with instructions of after care.

INJECTABLE SERVICES

XEOMIN-TOX

Leanna believes using tox is more than just smoothing out wrinkles in the face and neck. The two neuromodulators that she uses on her clients include Xeomin and Dysport. These products help to smooth the skin, symmetrize and lift the eyebrows, and maintain natural facial expressions. Each treatment is customized by Leanna to help reach your aesthetic goals and facial anatomy. She also treats the jaw muscles in the face to aid in treating TMJ, as well as clenching and grinding of the teeth. Treating the masseter muscles can also help with slimming the face.

Regardless of which tox is used, it typically lasts about 3-4 months depending on muscle strength and dosage.

What is Xeomin?

Xeomin is the new Botox. This product is very similar to Botox, but it is formulated differently. Both are neuromodulators, however, Xeomin is the purest neurotoxin on the market. It has 16 less ingredients than Botox. Studies have shown accessory proteins and preservatives in Botox can lead to building a resistance, making the product not as effective later on. The great news is that Xeomin does not contain those proteins or preservatives.

Neuromodulators - TOX

What is a Neuromodulator?
Neuromodulators (more commonly known by their brand names of Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, and Jeuveau) interrupt the signal between nerve and muscle, causing the muscles to contract less, smoothing the wrinkles in the relevant area.

When will I see results from tox?
You will not see immediate improvement in fine lines and wrinkles. Results can be seen in 7 to 14 days.

How long does tox last?
The amount of time your neuromodulator lasts depends on your metabolic rate and how much you exercise the treated muscles. The majority of patients maintain neuromodulator treatments every 3 to 4 months. In some cases, it can last up to 6 months when using Xeomin tox.

What are neuromodulators used for?
While neuromodulators can be used to smooth wrinkles, they can also be used for much more! For example, they can be used to create an eyebrow arch, carry out a “lip flip,” correct gummy smile, slim the lower face, and reduce grinding/clenching and TMJ dysfunction. They can even be used in the neck (for a “Nefertiti Neck Lift”) and more.

What is the difference between Botox and Xeomin?
They both treat fine lines and wrinkles, but how they are made and how long results last differ. While Botox (botulinum toxin) has been around the last 20+ years, there is a newer brand on the market that has become a popular alternative for some, called Xeomin (botulinum toxin type A or incobotulinimtoxinA). To compare Botox and Xeomin, they both have the same goal in relaxing muscle movement, and both are applied through injection by needle.

How They Are Made:
Xeomin is a purified form of botoxulinum toxin type A while Botox is composed of a complex mixtures of proteins. This means Xeomin does NOT have any additives and Botox does. This is why Xeomin is often referred to as the "naked injectable."

Why Choose Xeomin Over Botox:
1. Length of the effects: Xeomin has been proven to last longer than Botox by 2-3 months longer.
2. Faster Results: Xeomin typically only takes a few days to kick in vs. Botox up to 2 weeks.
3. Allergic Reactions: with Xeomin being more purified, there's less chance of allergic reactions.

Please Note: everyone is different in how they respond to either of these products. Someone may get better results with Botox the they do with Xeomin and vice versa. Both products are safe and effective options to improve physical appearance, but the best choice for you will be what meets your needs.

Dermal Fillers - Lips, Cheeks, Jaw, Chin

What can filler be used for?
Some of Leanna's favorite procedures include fillers! Cheekbone and jawline fillers can be used to create a sculpted look of the face, lift the jowl or the midface, and create more of a “modelesque” cheekbone. Tear trough augmentation uses injectable filler to soften the under eye hollow, which improves the appearance of dark circles and tiredness under the eyes. One procedure Leanna will not perform is the non-surgical rhinoplasty, which mimics surgical results using filler. It can be dangerous and cause permanent damage such as someone can potentially lose their eyesight.

How long does filler last?
Filler is metabolised at different rates by different people, and it also tends to last longer in those areas of the face that have less movement. In general we recommend maintaining filler in the lips about every 6-9 months, and all other areas every 6 to 12 months.

What are fillers made out of?
Injectable fillers are derivatives of hyaluronic acids, which is a complex sugar molecule and a major component of the body’s own collagen. All of our fillers are FDA approved, and are not permanent.

How long does it take to see results from filler?
You will begin to see results right away, however filler takes 2-3 weeks to fully rehydrate. During this time it is normal to experience a lump or bump that will settle on its own.

Are there risks or side effects?
Overall, dermal fillers are relatively safe and effective. The most common reactions may include redness, swelling, bruising, itching or tenderness. For most, these mild reactions resolve within a week or so. The downside? Most fillers are not permanent so additional treatments may be needed.

Who is NOT a candidate for filler?
If you are allergic to any of the components in the filler

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

If you take blood thinners or an immunosuppressant

Exercise caution if you have a history of severe scarring or have a pigmentation disorder
